Candidates in teacher education engage in a wide variety of learning experiences that provide evidence of their knowledge, skills, and dispositions as dedicated and knowledgeable professionals, content specialists, competent educational designers, capable educational facilitators, insightful educational evaluators, and reflective professionals. Teacher education programs at LCSC are structured to provide a productive learning environment in which these experiences are developed, supervised, and meaningfully evaluated.

Instructional Events: Learning experiences that prepare highly qualified teachers
This section highlights the instructional events that, as part of a teacher candidate's program of study, develop the knowledge, skills, and dispositions of the highly qualified teacher. These instructional events, generally, reside within a course.
