The Secondary Teacher Education Program

Lewis-Clark State College has a long tradition of preparing teachers. Since its founding in 1890, LCSC has always been a place for people to learn to become teachers. We are proud of our tradition as a teacher's college and our reputation throughout the Northwest for doing it well. We at LCSC work to create a learning environment in which our students get the personal attention and solid experiences that are necessary to become the best classroom teachers.

The LCSC College of Education is justly proud that it remains the most affordable college/university in Idaho. The college is consistently ranked near or at the top of all programs preparing teachers in the state and offers a wide variety of teacher certification programs.

The goal of the secondary education program is to prepare caring professionals who teach for understanding in communities of learning. We hope you consider joining our community of learning here at LCSC.
